[edit] Description

This feature was part of the standard set of core features up to version 0.3.x but it was turned into a plugin during the early stages of version 1.0. The reasons were 50% to show off the new plugin framework and 50% to reduce the size of the deafult standard package, since after some informal polls it was found out that this feature was not used by many people.

This plugin offers exactly the same features as in previous versions. There is no need to update any data, as it will recognize filtered content from the previous version.

[edit] Configuration

This plugin offers two possibilities: content can be globally filtered or filtered on a per-blog basis. If the content is added as global, it will be forbidden for all blogs. If the content is added only for a particular blog, then it will only be forbidden for that blog.

Globally filtered content can be added via Administration->Site Security->Add Global Filtered Content. Blog-specific filters can be set via Manage->Blog Security->Filtered Content.

The plugin must be enabled in order to work. The plugin can be enabled via Control Center->Security Management->Content Filter.

[edit] Notes

We can use any valid regular expression when entering content to be filter, or just single words if that is all that is needed.
